La Contessa offers independent apartments set around the town of Santa Teresa Gallura, overlooking Corsica, on Sardinia's most northern tip. Rena Bianca beach is around 5 minutes' walk away.

Ferries to Corsica leave from the port 5 minutes' drive away. The town of Palau is about 30 minutes away by car, for boat trips to La Maddalena Archipelago and ferries to Italy's mainland.

During summer, accommodation is only available for stays of 7 nights from Saturday until Saturday.
